News, views and stuff

Well, there has to be one new thing to start 2010 with, and that's blogging. New for me, that is. And if the truth be known, I'm finding it a little scary, hanging all that personal stuff out there. It feels a bit like flying - however much you tell yourself it's happening all the time, everybody is doing it, you still can't stop those butteflies in the gut. Well I can't. And then there are all those other anxieties, like what if nobody leaves any comments, what if nobody even bothers to read the damned thing. Anyhow, here it is.

My intention is to introduce topics in the hope somebody out there will be interested enough to respond. But first of all, I'd really appreciate views on the website generally. So comments please.
